Goole Fields Windfarm

As an approved contractor NSS Ltd were employed to carry out a factory acceptance test and then the on-site, fully witnessed, test and cold commissioning of sixteen 33KV/690V package substations. Each substation included a 3 panel 33kV switchboard, 2.5MVA 33000/690V distribution transformer, 690V switchboard and distant/local protection and control panel at Goole Fields.
The following tests were a sample of those conducted:-
- 56kV AC Pressure tests
- Micro Ohm Reistance (Ductor) test
- CT Magnetisation Curves
- Primary current Injection
- Secondary Current Injection of protection and transducers
- Full functional tests of protection and control schemes
