Site: Scottish Power Primary Substation’s
NSS Ltd have completed over 50 primary substation retrofits for Scottish Power in the Manweb and Scotland regions.
NSS install, test and cold commission the 11kV primary substation switchboard (Genie Evo) in Scottish Power substation’s. The switchboard’s comprise of 33/11KV transformer incomers, Overhead/underground feeders with bespoke functionality.
NSS staff are Scottish Power authorised to enter live substations and work and accept Permit to Work documents.
NSS carry out the following post installation check’s which a percentage are witness by Scottish power:
- AC Pressure tests
- Micro Ohm Reistance (Ductor) test
- CT Magnetisation Curves
- Primary current Injection
- Secondary Current Injection of protection and transducers
